On Location-Independence During a Lockdown

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: I left my cushy corporate job to become a digital nomad in Bali.

You’ve heard it before? K, how about this one?

It took two years and a global pandemic for me to figure out how to be a successful* location-independent consultant.

The downtime of Covid-19 made me confront the bad habits I had fallen into, showing me what I had to correct now if I still wanted to see success as a self-employed “digital nomad”.

What I had to correct lay in three specific areas. None of these areas had to do with strategy, branding, or marketing - and none of them required me leaving my house.
